Real Housewives star to launch own vodka
By Amy HopkinsReality TV star Luann de Lesseps is planning to launch her own line of flavoured vodkas, following in the footsteps of her Real Housewives of New York City co-star Bethenny Frankel.
Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps will launch her own brand of vodka later this year
As reported by E! Online Lesseps will release a range of “infused” vodkas, called The Countess Collection, in the US this summer.
The range will reportedly include all natural flavourings and will coincide with the launch of Lesseps’s Pour it Forward programme, which will see US$2 from each bottle donated to a local charity.
Bethenny Frankel, who also stars in the Real Housewives of New York City, launched the low-calorie Skinnygirl bottled cocktail range in 2011 and later sold the company to Beam Global.
In January this year, reports speculated that Frankel was looking to launch a Skinnygirl Marijuana variant after she was spotted visiting a cannabis dispensary
However it is thought the product would be completely separate to the current range.
It was revealed last month that Bow Wow had become the youngest rapper in the US to launch his own vodka, with the release of NDI Vodka.
