Brown-Forman appoints new head of Jack Daniel’s
By Becky PaskinBrown-Forman has appointed a new president to oversee the Jack Daniel’s portfolio of brands as it expands its expressions and global footprint.
Mark McCallum, Brown-Forman’s new president of Jack Daniel’s BrandsMark McCallum, formerly president for Europe/Africa, Asia Pacific and travel retail for the Louisville, Kentucky-based drinks group, has been appointed executive vice president and president of Jack Daniel’s Brands.
Having joined the group in 2003, he has previously held positions as chief marketing officer for spirits, chief brands officer and chief operating officer.
McCallum officially steps into the role from 1 February 2015.
He replaces John Hayes, former global managing director for Jack Daniel’s Brands, who has now been appointed chief marketing officer of Brown-Forman brands, which includes the group’s entire portfolio aside from the Tennessee whiskey.
In addition, Brown-Forman has also appointed Tim Nall as chief information officer, responsible for the group’s business system and global infrastructure.
