Johnnie Walker designs whisky-filled brogues

Johnnie Walker has partnered with men’s footwear specialist Oliver Sweeney to create a pair of brogues that can house a hidden bottle of whisky in their heels.

The Oliver Sweeney brigues now come with a hidden compartment that houses miniatures of Johnnie Walker

Oliver Sweeney has adapted its classic Oxford brogue with a unique heel designed to perfectly house a miniature of Johnnie Walker blended Scotch whisky.

Called the Johnnie Tan Leather Brogue, the shoes also feature a striding man tattoo, and red suede lining in the heel compartment that is transparent so the whisky can be seen.

The release ties in with Johnnie Walker’s long-term “Striding Man” branding, and “Keep Walking” slogan.

The shoes carry a price tag of £279 per pair.

The shoes are the latest in a string of whisky-inspired fashions released in recent weeks, including whisky-flavoured tweed (also by Johnnie Walker).

Watch the video below to see how the shoes are made.
