Viacom CFO switches to Bacardi in Bermuda

Bacardi has made another appointment to its senior management team this month in the guise of Jacques Tortoroli, its new chief administration officer.

Tortoroli joins the Bermuda-based rum group from entertainment company Viacom, where he most recently held the dual role of executive vice president of financial services for Viacom and chief financial officer for Viacom Media Networks (formerly MTV Networks).

He will officially begin his new role with Bacardi on 1 December in Hamilton, Bermuda, reporting into interim CEO Mike Dolan.

“Jacques has a proven track record in leading multinational organisations and functions and brings extensive leadership, financial management and implementation of global systems experience to this newly created position,” said Dolan.

“I’m confident Jacques will bring together these various functions under one umbrella for a more streamlined, efficient and effective Bacardi.”

Earlier this month Bacardi also appointed a new global chief communications officer.
