New premium design for Glenfiddich 18YO

Glenfiddich has redesigned its 18 Year Old single malt whisky to give it a more superior look than the rest of the range.

Glenfiddich 18 Year Old has been redesigned to promote its premium qualities

The expression is now bottled in clear glass, rather than brown, with an embossed cartouche and sealed with a wooden stopper.

It is also now presented in a chocolate-coloured gift box that’s finished with gold foil.

The packaging update is only being applied to the 18 Year Old, to highlight its premium qualities compared to its 12- and 15-year-old stablemates.

Peter Gordon, director of Glenfiddich, which is owned by William Grant & Sons, said: “As an independent family-run company we have the freedom to innovate in many ways. Our Glenfiddich 18 Year Old is a superior whisky so naturally we want its presentation to match the quality of our award winning liquid.

“The prestigious new look of our Glenfiddich 18 Year Old will hopefully capture and reflect the expertise of our master craftsmen and the brand’s authenticity and heritage.”

The new-look bottle will be rolled out to global markets from November 2014.
