Suntory opens Jim Beam Bar in Tokyo
By Melita KielySuntory Holding Ltd is providing Bourbon fans with the chance to sample a selection of whiskey cocktails for a limited time only at the Jim Beam Bar in Tokyo.
The Jim Beam Bar in Tokyo will be open until 23 SeptemberThe Jim Beam Bar officially opened on 29 August at the Hills café/Space in the centre of the Roppongi Hills shopping centre and aims to introduce the brand’s “high mixability” to consumers, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
A total of 30 cocktails will be on offer including the Beam Highball using ginger ale and the Citrus Beam, which is made using fresh fruits.
Food, such as Jim Beam buffalo wings, will also be available to order.
The bar is ordained with approximately 700 Jim Beam bottles, while a wide screen TV will showcase the Kentucky Boubon’s 200-year history in pictures.
Jim Beam Bar will be open until 23 September.
Japanese drinks group Suntory completed its US$16 billion acquisition of Beam Inc in May this year, creating Beam Suntory Inc.
