London Cocktail Week introduces bartender seminar space
By Melita KielyLondon Cocktail Week is seeking presentations from brands and individuals for its new Bartenders’ Centre seminar space, which will run at the festival from 6-12 October 2014.
London Cocktail Week will debut the first The Bartenders’ Corner at this year’s festivalWith room to accommodate for up to 60 guests, the theatre space will provide a platform for small, artisan brands and bartenders to present their ideas in an hour-long seminar free of charge.
Brands and bartenders who wish to speak at the show are now being invited to submit seminar proposals and overviews for consideration.
“We felt that this year was the year we could really start to give back, reinvest and ramp up our offering for member of the drinks trade,” commented Hannah Sharman-Cox, founder of London Cocktail Week and ABV global managing director.
“The Bartenders’ Centre is an opportunity for absolutely anyone who wants their voice to be heard to stand in front of the exciting global audience that we attract at LCW.
“The fact that we are able to offer this free of charge is extremely exciting for us as it means that we might hear something new from people that have never had this opportunity before.”
Seminar proposals must be emailed to trade@londoncocktailweek.com by Friday 1 August.
