Canadian Club announces spiced edition

Canadian Club is expanding its portfolio with the release of a spiced whisky, Canadian Club Spiced.

The new edition will be a twist on Canadian Club Original, blended with vanilla, all spice, black pepper, cinnamon, clove and juniper berry.

Canadian Club Spiced has been designed for consumption as part of a mixed drink, cocktail or served over ice and is described as offering a sweet grain and spicy aroma, with flavours of sweet fruit and spices and a long finish.

The new spirit will be released to “capitalise on the success” of the Candian Club’s other releases, which have experienced a 30% compound annual growth rate (CAGR.

Trent Chapman, marketing director for Beam Suntory Australia said: “This is an important and bold move for Canadian Club as we continue to develop its full spirit portfolio and expand mainstream and premium to luxury offerings.

“Canadian Club Original has been a huge success and we’re confident consumers will love the taste and versatility of Canadian Club Spiced.”

Canadian Club Spiced is bottled at 37% abv and will be available to order from Coca Amatil from 24 July.
