London craft distiller Sipsmith prepares to install new still Constance at its new distillery in Chiswick.
The new Sipsmith distillery will feature a ‘wall of fun’ with several five-litre balloon jugs filled with different spirits off the stills.
Team SB had the pleasure of spending the day at Drake & Morgan’s latest venture, The Fable, on Tuesday to taste a vast array of spirits for The Asian Spirit Masters 2014.
London’s Grand Union bar was the setting for the latest Wenneker Swizzle Masters round, which saw 10 feminine Cognac cocktails compete for a place in the semi-finals in October.

SB was invited to meet co-founder of Elephant gin, Henry Palmer, to learn more about the history behind the brand, the unusual botanicals used such as African superfruit baobab and wormwood and the brand’s conservation work with two elephant foundations in Africa: Big Life Foundation and and Space For Elephants.
Having only launched last year, Elephant Gin has already become a firm favourite behind the bar at Mr Fogg’s, London, among the quirky decor of vintage bicycles and antelope statues.
Bombay Sapphire held a preview screening of its Imagination Series at London’s Soho House, hosted by award-winning film critic, James King. The five winning films will be showcased at the Tribeca Film Festival on 22 April.
Diageo bartenders demonstrated the Reserve brand portfolio’s flexibility in cocktails in a partnership with Gordon Ramsay’s Union Street Cafe. Patrons were able to craft their perfect vodka Martini at the Ketel One Martini station, as well as indulge in select cocktails from Don Julio Tequila and Bulleit Bourbon.
