Bushmills goes to South Africa

Two South African friends – and brothers-in-law – have been named the winners of the Make it 2 Busmills competition.

The Irish distiller ran the competition which aimed to offer two friends an “experience of a lifetime at the distillery and then to ‘take it on tour’”. Friends Jonathan Oliff and Sean Tickner will “take the distillery home” with them toSouth Africa, where the “ultimate Bushmills party” will be hosted.

Oliff and Tickner had to first gain support on social networking sites such as Facebook, then compete in a selection of tasks including barrel-rolling, beach-golfing and whiskey-tasting to impress the panel of judges with their strong friendship, teamwork and creativity.
