Hennessy’s first pop-up unveiled at Heathrow
By Amy HopkinsHennessy Cognac has opened a pop-up store at Heathrow’s Terminal Five – the first of its kind to launch in the travel retail sector.
The House of Hennessy at Heathrow’s T5 is the first pop-up to be opened by the brand outside of the Cognac regionCreated in collaboration with the World Duty Free Group, The House of Hennessy boutique is also the first to be opened outside of the Cognac region.
The store features a number of limited edition bottles, including the Hennessy XO Collector’s Edition, which carries an RRP of £195, the Hennessy Private Collection, which retails for £49.99, and the duty free exclusive Hennessy Privé, available for £285.
Visiting travellers will have the opportunity to partake in a variety of tastings not normally possible outside of the Hennessy Mansion in Cognac. Those who experience the full tasting will receive a certificate as a keepsake.
“This boutique is the first of its kind and offers a truly premium spirit experience for Heathrow travellers, particularly the rare opportunity to taste vintage eau de vie in this unique environment,” said Guillaume Resiou, senior travel retail key accounts manager for brand-owner Moet Hennessy.
“The detail that has gone into every element of the customer experience in the pop up store is first class and demonstrates the lengths Hennessy goes to for perfection.”
House of Hennessy has been designed by French designer Mathieu Lehanneur and features a crystal ‘orgue’ displaying vintages ranging from the 1920s to the 1970s.
Unveiled last week, the pop-up will be open for the next four months.
