By Becky PaskinThe team behind Worship Street Whistling Shop are to release a series of eight RTDs, cocktail seasonings and homemade liqueurs as part of a collaboration with Master of Malt.
Worship Street Whistling Shop’s collaborations with Master of Malt now include Jagertee and Acid PhosphateHaving already launched Worship Street Cream Gin in December 2012, the team behind the critically-acclaimed London bar has revealed it plans to release a whole collection of cocktail products over the next 18 months.
Last week the duo launched two new products simultaneously. The first is Worship Street Whistling Shop Acid Phosphate, a cocktail seasoning inspired by the 19th century soda fountains. The £12.95 product is created from phosphoric acid that’s partially neutralised with magnesium and potassium and mixed with a pot still wheat spirit. Acing as a substitute for citrus in cocktails, the Acid Phosphate imparts an acidic sour note without the citrus taste in just a few drops.
Also launched recently is Worship Street Whistling Shop JagerTee, a bespoke spiced rum aged with Sherry cask stave pieces, using premium white rum, black tea, seeds, nuts and spices, which is bottled at 36.4% abv. Jagertee retails for £45.95 for a 700ml bottle.
Further details regarding the remaining products in the collection will be released in due course.
The range has been created by Worship Street Retail, a sister company to the bar owned by Fluid Movement. While Tristan Stephenson and Thomas Aske head up Fluid Movement, Worship Street Retail also comprises of Ryan Chetiyawardana, Matt Whiley and Bryan Pietersen.
