Countdown to Boutique Bar Show

Interactive features include cocktail-making sessions, clandestine bar experiences, and bartending competitionsBringing a host of premium and independent brands, bars and bartenders together under one roof, the UK’s popular trade show promises a “more intimate experience” than ever before.
From 24-25 September, Boutique Bar Show will promoting premium and independent brands through a series of tastings, talks, competitions and secret bar experiences at the Victoria House Basement Block, in Bloomsbury Square.
The show’s founder, Andrew Scutts, is expecting 40 exhibitors and 1,200 visitors who will have the opportunity to experience a “completely different type of trade show” with unique “interactive and immersive” sessions led by prominent bartenders and industry professionals.
He said: “This year, I really wanted to focus on interactive experiences. These allow visitors to benefit from educational sessions that are intimate and comprehensive – this can be lost in a big group.”
Interactive experiences include: Masters of Maraschino cocktail-making competition; From Breakfast Drinks to Forty Winks cocktail-making sessions; The Craft Distillers Village, an artisan spirits haven; The Bartenders Table of Wellbeing, small bartender sessions on cocktail, syrup and tonic creations; Classic Cocktails with The Ritz; and secret bar experience Fancy Drinks and Ice Carving.
Exhibiting brands include: Sipsmith Spirits, Chase Distillers, Monkey 47 Gin, Chairman’s Reserve Forgotten Casks and Carlo Alberto Riserve Vermouth.
All exhibiting brands will receive the same sized stands to “create an environment based on brand equality”. Scutts added: “All exhibitors are treated exactly the same, whether it’s a Diageo brand or a small independent distillery.”
