“Surreal” Znaps Vodka enters UK market

Swedish vodka brand Znaps is marking its entrance into the UK market this month by sponsoring a series of trade and consumer events, including the Duke of Essex Polo match in Chelmsford.

The brand has enlisted Vine Distribution Service (VDS UK) as its sole UK distributor of the full Znaps range, which includes the ultra-premium Ginseng and Smooth vodkas, although the focus will initially be on the core range.

The products within Znaps portfolio, which will be targeted at both on- and off-trade outlets, are: Somerset Medley Ginger & Mango Vodka, Forest Tale Blueberry & Blackberry Vodka, Norfolk Brink Gooseberry, Rhubarb and Pear Vodka, Black Jack Swedish Liquorice Shooter, American Applie Pie Shooter, Pre-mixed Cosmopolitan, Pre-mixed Margarita, Pre-mixed Strawberry Daiquiri.

The flavoured vodka products all have an abv of 37.5%, the shooters an abv of 25% and the RTDs  15% abv. The range is now available for an RRP of £15.99-£33.99.

“At this time we are focusing on getting traction on the core range, with the two ultra-premium Ginseng and Smooth products to follow as we achieve listings with some higher end venues,” said Luke Brown of VDS UK.

To promote the brand, Znaps has created a range of signature cocktails in collaboration with Mixology Group to “showcase the quality and diversity of the range,” which will be used alongside other marketing and promotional activities to drive the brand forward.
