Three Cents taps into trends with Pickle Soda
Athens-based mixer brand Three Cents has released a pickle-flavoured soda, now available in the UK through Cask Liquid Marketing.
The new soda aims to capitalise on the growing demand for trendy flavour profiles, which are becoming popular across beverages and broader food culture.
Dubbed the ‘first-of-its-kind,’ the soda embraces consumer interest in umami and savoury flavours, drawing inspiration from pickling and preservation techniques.
Three Cents Pickle Soda is crafted with natural ingredients and is free from preservatives and artificial colourings.
It is said to capture the vibrant essence of brine, vinegar, salt, and sugar, resulting in a multidimensional beverage with the signature Three Cents fizz.
Its aroma is refreshing, highlighted by crisp cucumber and earthy celery notes. The flavour is aromatic, tangy, and savoury, balanced with hints of vinegar, salt, and sugar.
George Bagos, general manager and co-founder of Three Cents, said: “The Pickle Soda is a genuinely unique product that we believe will strongly resonate with premium venues and modern drinkers.

Pickle Soda can be paired with a variety of spirits or enjoyed on its own.
The soda’s hero serves include the Pickleball, a vodka highball with a bold pickle-and-Tabasco twist. The Pickleback Fizz, a long-drink variation on the classic whiskey shot-and-chaser, is made with Three Cents Pickle Soda and garnished with cucumber. Finally, the Pickle Rickey is a refreshing cocktail that combines gin, lime cordial, and Pickle Soda, garnished with dill.
Pickle Soda, along with other Three Cents mixers such as Fig Leaf and Pink Grapefruit sodas, is now available in the UK through Cask Liquid Marketing.
Earlier this year, Three Cents teamed up with Telford Wine & Spirits Shanghai to introduce its premium mixers in mainland China.
