Desi Daru Mango headlines Bandra Bhai menu
By Miona MadsenBritish-Indian vodka brand Desi Daru has teamed up with Bandra Bhai bar at Pahli Hill in London to introduce the Mango Specials cocktail menu.

The limited-time menu features three signature serves made with Desi Daru Alphonso Mango Vodka.
The Kingpin Lassi pairs the flavoured vodka, which is made with ‘King of the Mangoes’, with Briottet Mangue, sugar, clarified yoghurt, and lime. The cocktail has become a staple on the Bandra Bhai’s menu as homage to a classic Indian drink.
Mohit Singh, founder of Desi Daru, shared: “The Kingpin Lassi at Bandra Bhai was our first ever cocktail listing. And all these years on, it remains our longest-standing listing. That’s how delicious this drink is.
“It was a no-brainer to work alongside their team to create a seasonal menu with Alphonso Mango-focused serves for their customers throughout the summer – the British weather may not always deliver, but these cocktails do, and they have sunshine in every glass.”
Mango Tango brings simplicity to the offerings as a tall and tropical serve, made with Desi Daru and lemonade.
A spicy twist on the Margarita, Mango Rita mixes the brand’s Alphonso Mango Vodka with agave, lime, Ancho Reyes Verde chilli liqueur, and Tajín.
Gurutej Narayana, bar manager at Bandra Bhai, added: “The Mango Season collaboration felt like a perfect fit from the start because both Pahli Hill and Desi Daru celebrate bold flavour and a modern take on South Asian hospitality.
“Mango is such an iconic flavour within Indian culture, especially Alphonso mangoes, so creating a menu around it felt exciting. Drinks like the Kingpin Lassi have become real favourites because they take familiar flavours and present them in a fun, elevated cocktail format.”
The Mango Specials cocktail menu will be available at Bandra Bhai bar in Fitzrovia until 31 July, priced at £14 (US$19) per serve.
Last month, Desi Daru hosted a one-night takeover at Bandha Bhai after BCB London.
