Tarquin’s debuts Connie Glaze Passion Fruit
By Miona MadsenCornish distiller Tarquin’s Spirits has introduced a new vodka liqueur under its Connie Glaze brand, inspired by the Passion Fruit Martini.

The new Connie Glaze Passion Fruit Vodka Liqueur, created by founder and master distiller Tarquin Leadbetter, was designed for Spritz serves.
The launch taps into the ongoing UK demand for lighter, fruity and refreshing drinks.
At 20% ABV, Connie Glaze’s newest creation is made in small batches, slowly filtered through Cornish golden sand at Tarquin’s craft distillery, and then blended with passion fruit.
The vodka-based liqueur has already secured listings with drinks wholesaler Tolchards and St Austell Brewery’s pubs. Across the pub group, the Connie Glaze Passion Fruit Spritz has been included on its Spritz menus.
Leadbetter commented: “This is the nation’s favourite cocktail, reimagined for the modern drinker. It captures all the vibrant flavour and fun of a Passion Fruit Martini in a refreshing, easy-to-serve Spritz.
“Feedback from St Austell Managed Estate so far has been incredible, with early indications showing that our Passion Fruit Spritz is their best-performing Spritz from an independent brand.”
The launch is also said to demonstrate Tarquin’s Spirits’ commitment to innovation in lower-alcohol beverages.
“Half of our new product developments over the past 18 months have come in at 20% ABV or below,” he added. “We’re paying close attention to how drinking habits are evolving, and this range is our answer to that shift – products that don’t ask consumers to compromise on flavour or experience.”
Connie Glaze Passion Fruit Vodka Liqueur can be purchased from the distillery’s website and Tarquin’s Gin Shops at an RRP of £28 (US$37).
It can also be found on the menu in select Spritz gardens throughout the South West of England.
Earlier this year, Tarquin’s Spirits launched its first external crowdfunding round, raising nearly £870,000 (US$1.17m) in two weeks.
