Perry’s spotlights Socorro Tequila in signature serve

I & A Agave Spirits’ Socorro Tequila will feature in the Rare Rita cocktail, served at all Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille locations in the US.

The Rare Rita is a clarified Margarita

The Rare Rita is a clarified Margarita that combines Socorro Tequila Blanco, fresh-pressed lime juice, agave nectar, and orange bitters, garnished with a mist of Valencia orange peel and a golden salt rim.

Paige Stroud, beverage director at Perry’s Restaurants, stated: “Socorro Tequila Blanco delivers the kind of clean, polished Tequila that makes a clarified Margarita truly shine. It allows the true agave character to come through in a way that feels both refined and authentic.

“100% sustainably grown Blue Weber agave and traditional methods of production truly respect the spirit’s roots. It’s a natural fit with how we approached the Rare Rita –  thoughtful, elevated, and rooted in quality.”

Josh Irving and Pablo Antinori launched Socorro Tequila in 2020. The additive-free Tequila is produced in the highlands of Jalisco using traditional methods and 100% Blue Weber agave.

The partnership with Perry’s is part of Socorro’s continued on-premise expansion beyond its core markets of Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

Irving said: “For us, Perry’s defining philosophy of creating experiences that are ‘rare and well done’ reflects our desire to craft world-class Tequila with intention, using traditional methods.

“The Rare Rita highlights our shared focus on excellence in the glass.”

The Rare Rita is now available at all Perry’s Steakhouse locations throughout Texas as well as in Birmingham, Alabama; Chicago, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; Miami, Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Richmond, Virginia.

Socorro Tequila Blanco is also available at all locations.

Antinori added: “We’ve long been impressed with Perry’s award-winning cocktails. Our relationship goes back to a Socorro Tequila dinner we hosted in 2024 at Verdad, Perry’s modern Mexican concept.

“We’re honoured to expand our relationship to the Perry’s flagship restaurants.”

Earlier this year, Socorro took to the skies with American Airlines, alongside Q Margarita Mix.
