Moth jumps on the Yo! Sushi belt
By Georgie CollinsReady-to-drink brand Moth has partnered with Yo! to offer three of its canned cocktails across all of the sushi chain’s UK restaurants.

Rolling out across all UK Yo! Sushi locations, including Selfridges sites in London, Manchester and Birmingham, the cocktails are priced at £6.50 (US$8.80). The chain is also offering suggested pairings designed to complement the chain’s Japanese menu.
To accompany Moth’s ‘floral and punchy’ Negroni, diners are encouraged to opt for the salmon or tuna nigiri, while the Spicy Margarita is said to pair best with the restaurant’s dynamite roll, made with creamy avocado, cucumber and carrot, rolled in crispy onions and topped with spicy salmon.
Plus, the brand’s Espresso Martini has been tipped as a great accompaniment to a Little Moons Chocolate Mochi – chocolate-truffle ganache in a light mochi rice casing – recommended as a great cocktail to end a meal.
Ali Mather, head of on-trade at Moth, said: “Yo! is all about big flavours and a sense of fun, which makes it a natural fit for Moth.
“We wanted to show how our cocktails in a little black can are just as delicious with food, and this new partnership gives people an easy way to enjoy a bar-quality serve in a format that fits seamlessly into the Yo! experience.”
The partnership reflects growing demand for high-quality, bar-strength cocktails in casual dining, as drinkers look for convenience without compromising on taste.
Lauren Crozier, marketing director at Yo!, added: “We’re always looking for ways to evolve the Yo! experience, and bringing in Moth gives our guests access to premium cocktails in a quick, convenient format. The suggested pairings are a simple way to explore new flavour combinations across the menu.”
Moth’s Spicy Margarita, Negroni and Espresso Martini cocktails are now available in all Yo! Sushi restaurants across the UK, while its full range of 12 ready-to-go serves can be purchased online at www.mothdrinks.com and in Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Whole Foods, Asda, Co-op, Morrisons and Ocado.
