Midnight Rambler’s new menu is in full bloom

The cocktail bar at The Joule hotel in Dallas, Midnight Rambler, has launched its Garden of Delight cocktail menu, inspired by the ‘bounty of the garden’ and the ‘rhythms of seasonal blossoming’.

Bartenders Gabe Sanchez and Jennava Walker lead on menu creation at Midnight Rambler, with the bar known for its seasonally rotating drink lists.

Highlights of the new menu include Peas… All the Ways, a gin-based serve featuring Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur and Lillet Blanc infused with snap peas, alongside pink peppercorn and sea salt foam.

Elsewhere, blueberries are spotlighted in Pearl Jam, combined with white rum, Charanda, Amontillado Sherry and milk and topped with sustainable ‘caviar’.

Morning Harvest makes use of a strawberry-thyme-tomato cordial, which is paired with Codigo blanco Tequila, red verjus, lemon and saline. The drink is garnished with fruit leather and can be made non-alcoholic.

Man About a Boat blends Maguey Single Village Mezcal, a root vegetable and Chamoy cordial, Angostura Bitters, dehydrated radish and chapulina. The drink’s garnish is Taki Stix.

The menu also features some classics, described as “perfect in every season”.

Options include the Rambler Old Fashioned, the Clean Martini, and the Filthy 2.0.

The latter is a Dirty Martini made with either Bombay Sapphire or Grey Goose, combined with brine, olive-infused vermouth and a sidecar of stuffed olives, caperberries and onions.

Previous Midnight Rambler menus have been inspired by Pokémon and nineties’ malls.
