DOuMIX? marks Paloma Day with signature serve
Cocktail ingredients brand DOuMIX? is celebrating Paloma Day today (22 May) with a twist on the classic Tequila and pink grapefruit soda serve.
International Paloma Day celebrates the classic Mexican cocktail, known for its fresh, citrusy profile.
In recent years, the serve has gained popularity in Europe, securing a place on cocktail menus across the continent.
The new signature serve from DOuMIX?, called DOuPaloma?, reimagines the drink by replacing the traditional pink grapefruit soda with the brand’s Pink Grapefruit Squeeze and soda.
The result is said to be ‘a more intense, more defined, and more controlled flavour’ profile that maintains the drink’s original balance.
DOuPaloma? also features the brand’s 100% agave syrup, a new addition to the range said to deliver an intense, balanced flavour, enhancing the cocktail’s structure.
Pink Grapefruit Squeeze is one of the 28 products in the DOuMIX? range of pre-mixes, each containing up to 70% fruit.
DOuPaloma?
Ingredients
- 50ml Tequila
- 30ml Lime juice
- 15ml DOuMIX? 100% Agave Syrup
- 25ml DOuMIX? Pink Grapefruit Squeeze
- Soda water
Method: Pour all ingredients except the soda into a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a tall tumbler filled with ice and top up with soda. Stir gently and garnish with rosemary.
