Coppa Cocktails grows GTR footprint
By Miona MadsenMG Destilerías’ ready-to-drink (RTD) brand Coppa Cocktails has secured listings with four airlines and key airport locations.

Coppa Cocktails was acquired by MG Destilerías in 2024. Soon after, the brand launched a line of canned RTDs.
The brand is focused on expanding its presence in the global travel retail (GTR) channel, emphasising its promise to ‘deliver bar-quality cocktails anytime, anywhere.’
Coppa has partnered with Gate Group’s Gate Retail to offer select 100ml cans on board three airlines.
From 18 March, Coppa Cocktails Mojito have been available on all Vueling flights, while the brand’s Piña Colada are available on Air Europa flights, and its Margarita is served on Tap Air Portugal.
Furthermore, Coppa’s Sex on the Beach can be found onboard Iberia Express, with catering operations managed by Do & Co.
In airport retail, the brand’s Spicy Margarita and Coconut Daiquiri are now available through Avolta in a 200ml format at Spanish airports, including Alicante, Barcelona (Terminals 1 and 2), Málaga, and Tenerife South.
In Turkey, the RTD brand has secured additional listings with Avolta and Atu Duty Free.
“Travel retail is a natural fit for Coppa Cocktails,” said Manu Giró, CEO of MG Destilerías. “Our mission has always been to bring bar-quality cocktails into more moments of consumption, and travel is one of the most relevant.
“Seeing the brand expand so quickly across airlines and airports is a strong validation of both the concept and the quality behind it.”
Coppa Cocktails’ range includes 12 flavours, which come in 100ml minis and 200ml cans, as well as larger formats.
Last year, the brand released its first cream liqueur-based cocktail, White Choc & Passion.
In addition to Coppa, MG Destilerías portfolio includes MG Spirit RTDs, Gin MG, Le Tribute gin and mixers, and Santísima Trinidad de Cuba rum.
