Campari Group restructures GTR leadership
By Lauren BowesSatya Sharma will lead Campari Group’s global travel retail (GTR) channel in an expanded role as business unit managing director for Asia Pacific (APAC) and GTR.

Formerly the group’s managing director for APAC, Sharma has previously held senior executive roles for more than a decade at William Grant & Sons in the UK, China and Singapore.
Before joining Campari in February, he was CEO of Lark Distilling Co.
In his expanded role, he will focus on driving commercial execution, strengthening brand visibility and enhancing the role of GTR as a global showcase for Campari Group’s portfolio.
Sharma said: “GTR has always held a special place within Campari Group – it’s where our brands meet the world, often in memorable and enjoyable moments of travellers’ journeys.
“Taking on this expanded role is incredibly meaningful to me, as it allows us to unlock the full potential of GTR as a channel.”
Meanwhile, Charles Roullet has been appointed managing director of GTR. He will be based in Milan and report to Sharma.
Sharma continued: “I’m particularly excited to partner with Charles in this next chapter. His deep understanding of the channel, combined with his passion for our brands and people, gives me great confidence in what we can achieve together.”
Roullet joined Campari Group in 2016 after gaining more than 20 years of international experience in commercial and marketing from leading fast-moving consumer goods companies, including L’Oréal, Colgate-Palmolive, and Danone.
Most recently, he served as head of GTR for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and is said to have been ‘instrumental’ in strengthening brand performance across key global travel hubs.
Roullet said: “Having been part of Campari Group for a decade now, this appointment feels especially significant to me.
“I’ve had the privilege of growing with the business and witnessing first-hand the evolution of GTR into such a dynamic and important channel for the group. I’m proud of what we’ve built together, and even more excited about what’s ahead.
“Working alongside Satya and our teams around the world, my focus will be on continuing to elevate our execution, strengthening our partnerships, and bringing our brands to life in ways that truly connect with travellers.”
Campari Group said the new structure reflects its commitment to strengthening its GTR business.
