Brand Venture takes on Tequila Arette
By Miona MadsenExport partner Brand Venture has formed a strategic partnership with Tequila Arette to expand the brand’s presence in Europe.

Brand Venture will assist in Tequila Arette’s expansion throughout Europe by overseeing logistics, infrastructure, and operational execution, effective as of 1 May.
Under the agreement, Brand Venture will manage the importation, warehousing, distribution, and financial operations for the brand across the continent, ensuring a streamlined supply chain.
However, the commercial strategy, brand development, and market management will remain entirely under Tequila Arette’s control.
Jan Bernt Koster, partner at Brand Venture, commented: “Partnering with Tequila Arette is an important step for us. Our role is to provide a strong and reliable operational backbone across Europe and beyond so the brand can stay fully focused on strategy and growth.”
As part of its international growth strategy, Arette is enhancing its presence in European markets by collaborating closely with import partners in each country.
This strategy is said to enable the brand to maintain better control over its positioning and long-term development, while partnering with Brand Venture for on-the-ground operational support.
Eduardo Orendain, chief commercial officer of Tequila Arette, said: “This partnership allows us to strengthen our operational presence in Europe while maintaining full control of our brand, commercial strategy, and relationships with our partners.
“By working closely with Brand Venture, we can ensure efficient execution while continuing to build the brand in a consistent and authentic way.”
Tequila Arette has been produced at the El Llano Distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, since 1986.
In addition to blanco, reposado and añejo Tequilas, the brand’s range includes higher-ABV Fuerte Blanco and Gran Clase Extra Añejo.
Last month, Arette appointed Mangrove Global as its new distributor in the UK.
