Shanghai-based gin brand Peddlers has teamed up with Starbucks Reserve Bar Mixato for a nationwide cocktail collaboration in China.

The partnership pairs Peddlers’ gins with Starbucks coffee

Starbucks Reserve Bar Mixato is the coffee chain’s high-end cocktail bar concept, found mainly in Asia.

Running until 7 June, the collaboration will introduce a limited-time cocktail menu at 19 Starbucks Reserve Bar Mixato locations across China, alongside a four-city guest-shift tour led by bartender Millie Tang.

The partnership combines Starbucks’ small-batch Reserve coffee with the gin brand’s Chinese botanical profile, showcased in its three core products: Peddlers Rare Eastern, Salted Plum, and Barrel-aged Gin.

Additionally, it features Peddlers’ limited edition Year of the Horse bottling, Tanghulu Street Candy Gin.

At the core of the partnership is a menu of serves created by Tang, featuring Peddlers Gin. These cocktails combine espresso, tea, local fruits, and Chinese spices, resulting in a series of accessible, modern options ‘tailored for a new generation of consumers.’

The collaboration will be activated through Tang’s guest shift tour in four cities: Tianjin on 23 April, Chongqing on 25 April, Shenzhen on 30 April, and Shanghai on 2 May.

In addition to Peddlers Gin and Starbucks Reserve Bar Mixato, the tour is also supported by baijiu brand Tabb and Spanish liqueur Licor 43.
