Wisconsin’s Eagle Park Brewing & Distilling has acquired ready-to-drink (RTD) brand SoulBoxer Cocktail Co, which is based in Milwaukee.

The acquisition is said to mark the latest chapter in Eagle Park’s expansion across beer, spirits, and RTD beverages.

“SoulBoxer has built an incredible reputation for quality and authenticity,” said Max Borgardt, co-founder of Eagle Park Brewing & Distilling. “We see huge potential to bring that same craftsmanship into new formats and categories including canned cocktails, non-alcoholic canned cocktails, and THC-infused offerings, while staying true to what makes SoulBoxer special.”

Bartenders Jason Neu and Doug MacKenzie founded SoulBoxer in 2015, pioneering the ‘Wisconsin-style’ RTD cocktail using ingredients such as Door County cherries and orange peel to craft drinks that taste freshly mixed.

SoulBoxer Cocktail Co’s portfolio comprises a range of pre-mixed bottled cocktails, including the Brandy Old Fashioned and Bourbon Old Fashioned. These will soon be launched by canned versions of the cocktails, as well as a new Lakehouse Lemonade, made with real lemon and Rishi’s Hibiscus Berry Tea.

Further canned products are planned, as well as non-alcoholic and THC-infused varieties.

Eagle Park launched as a craft brewery and has evolved to become a cross-category firm, producing beer, spirits and THC beverages.

Before the acquisition, Eagle Park was SoulBoxer’s co-packing partner, producing and packaging its cocktails at the brand’s Muskego facility.

Co-packing has been one of Eagle Park’s fastest-growing business divisions since 2024, with the company providing turnkey production and product development solutions for breweries and beverage brands across the country.

In 2022, the company acquired the Milwaukee Brewing Company’s portfolio of brands.

In other RTD news, the former Casamigos Tequila CEO created a brand called Por Qué No.
