Deadline nears for The Pre-Mixed, RTD & Hard Seltzer Masters
By Melita KielyCanned, bottled, boxed or bagged – The Global Spirits Masters Competitions is looking for the best pre-mixed, ready-to-drink (RTD) and hard seltzer brands on the market.

Brands have until 24 April to enter The Pre-Mixed, RTD & Hard Seltzer Masters 2026.
As the RTD category and all its variants ramps up in popularity, the blind-tasting competition aims to reward the best liquid on the market with Silver, Gold and top Master medals.
The Master winners are then retasted to determine which product deserves the top accolade of the competition, the 2026 Taste Master award.
IWSR data forecasts RTDs will be the only spirit category to grow in 2026; it is estimated to increase by 1.3% in volume sales this year.
Last week, new data from NIQ’s On-Premise Measurement showed RTDs grew by 12% in value in Australia’s on-trade in 2025 compared with 2024. This marked a 35% increase compared with 2023.
The category generated AU$2.5 billion (US$1.76bn) in Australia’s bars last year.
