Centenario is the official Tequila of the Mexican national team.

The new limited edition Tri-Nation Fútbol Reposado Tequila is aged in three distinct oak barrels, each representing the host countries of the 2026 Fifa World Cup from 11 June to 19 July: the US, Mexico, and Canada.

Made with 100% Blue Weber agave, the expression is slow-cooked in traditional masonry ovens and double-distilled using copper stills.

The reposado has been aged for a minimum of two months in toasted American, Mexican and Canadian oak barrels before blending.

The Tequila is bottled at 40% ABV, offering notes of roasted agave, sweet oak, maple, and a light herbal character.

Lander Otegui, executive vice-president of marketing and innovation at Proximo Spirits, said: “Football has a rare ability to spotlight what makes each culture, community, and fanbase distinct – and how those differences can stand side by side proudly. Every culture that shows up to this stage brings something irreplaceable.

“For Centenario Tri-Nation Fútbol Reposado Tequila, we started from a place of Mexican pride and craftsmanship, which will never change. And we aged this liquid in three distinct oaks that each contribute something unique, without losing what makes them different.

“This liquid honours the passion that turns the game into a celebration of identity, pride, and cross-cultural experience.”

Inspired by the Mexican team’s jersey, the limited edition is presented in a black-tinted bottle with a gold and black label.

The Tequila is now available in 700ml bottles in limited quantities, with a suggested retail price of US$37.99.
