Be At One co-founder snaps up ex-BrewDog sites
By Lauren BowesRhys Oldfield, the co-founder of Be At One, has taken on three former BrewDog sites in the UK for his independent group Saviour Bars.

The three sites in Basingstoke, Bath and Bristol closed following BrewDog’s entry into administration on 2 March and were not part of the acquisition by US company Tilray.
Now, Saviour Bars has entered into an agreement with the administrators of BrewDog, AlixPartners, to occupy the venues.
The three new sites will take Saviour Bars’ portfolio to six sites, joining bars in London’s Battersea, Wokingham and Horsham.
Battersea’s Northcote Saviour launched the brand in November 2024. The Wokingham site was rebranded from Sit & Sip in January after a refurbishment, with a similar rebrand for Sit & Sip Horsham planned for this year.
Oldfield said: “When three well-located sites become available simultaneously in cities where we have been looking to grow, you move.
“These are good spaces in strong locations, and they deserve an independent operator who will invest in them properly. That is what Saviour does. We are looking forward to bringing what we do to Basingstoke, Bath, and Bristol.”
Oldfield co-founded the Be At One group of bars in 1998. The brand grew to 35 UK sites before its sale to Stonegate Group in 2018.
