Wiltshire Distilling unveils English Heritage collection
B Corp-certified The Wiltshire Distilling Company has collaborated with the English Heritage charity to launch a gin collection featuring three expressions inspired by the country’s historic sites.

Titled The English Heritage Spirits Collection, each gin narrates the story of three English heritage estates by transforming centuries of garden design and royal heritage into a selection of spirits.
English Heritage is a charity that cares for more a million objects and 400 historic sites across the country.
The sites range from world-famous prehistoric locations and grand medieval castles to Roman forts and Cold War bunkers. The charity works to bring the story of England to life for millions of visitors each year.
Jon Carson, commercial director at The Wiltshire Distilling Company, said: “English Heritage is such an impressive institution, and we have been delighted to work with them on this range of gins. We wanted each gin to feel like a genuine reflection of the historic sites that inspired it. Every botanical choice and flavour decision was made with real intention.
“We have one of the most advanced and sustainable distilleries in England, capable of scaling from 1,000 bottles to tens of thousands, a capability that we can bring to every partner we work with.
“This collection is an example of what bespoke, story-led spirit creation looks like at its best, and we’d love to bring that to any brands that are looking to create something high-quality and unique.”
Three distinct gins
The first expression, London Dry, is a classic gin inspired by Queen Victoria’s royal residence, Osborne House, on the Isle of Wight.
The gin features a label design with regal motifs inspired by the gardens of Osborne, reflecting the grandeur of Victoria’s reign.
The crisp English Heritage London Dry Gin stands out in cocktails like the Dry Martini, where a garnish of lemon zest enhances the spirit’s character.
The second edition, Blackberry & Rosehip Gin, is inspired by Jacobean mansion Audley End House in Essex. The design reflects the rural elegance of the estate’s Capability Brown parkland.
With layers of blackberries, rosehips, hawthorns, sloes, nettles, and elderflower, the gin aims to create ‘an authentic hedgerow character’, accompanied by orange peel and coriander.
The Blackberry & Rosehip Gin works well in a Negroni.
The collection concludes with a Pomelo & Grapefruit Gin, inspired by the gardens of Wrest Park in Bedfordshire.
The expression pays tribute to the creativity and architectural vision of Thomas Robinson, the second Earl de Grey, who designed both the French-style mansion and its upper gardens in the 1830s.
On the palate, the gin offers notes of zesty pomelo, grapefruit, juniper, coriander, lemon, orris root, and pink pepper, making it a perfect base for a gin and tonic.
All three expressions are offered at 40% ABV and retail for £40 (US$53).
Alexandra Bovey, licensing and B2B manager at English Heritage, commented: “English Heritage exists to share stories of England’s history, and developing products that represent those stories with partners who are experts in their field is a brilliant way to do so.
“Each gin in the collection has been crafted with real care and purpose, from the regal elegance of Osborne House to the wild hedgerow abundance of Audley End and the grandeur of Wrest Park.
“It’s wonderful to see how Wiltshire Distilling Company has taken those stories and executed them through careful botanical selection and stunning label design.”
The English Heritage Spirits Collection is now available in all English Heritage retail stores and online, with plans for further distribution.
