Tarsier Gin heads to Moldova
Manchester-based Tarsier Southeast Asian Spirits has partnered with distributor MGM to launch its gin range in Moldova.

The Chișinău-based distributor will be tasked with introducing Tarsier’s portfolio to key on-trade venues and premium retail locations, including bars, restaurants, and speciality retailers across Moldova for the first time.
The brand aims to attract local consumers and bartenders with flavours inspired by East and Southeast Asia.
Tarsier is launching in Moldova with four core expressions: Southeast Asian Dry Gin, Chilli & Lemongrass Gin, Calamansi Citrus Gin, and Lychee & Raspberry Pink Gin, along with the soon-to-be-released Oolong Tea Old Tom Gin.
Tim Driver, co-founder of Tarsier Spirit, commented: “Moldova has a growing cocktail culture and a community of bartenders who are curious about flavour. We are excited to partner with MGM to introduce Tarsier to the market, as they have been fans of the brand and the liquids since meeting at Bar Convent Berlin last year.
“We are looking forward to helping MGM bring East and Southeast Asian drinks solutions with our portfolio, tap into the global Asian trend in mixology and offer bartenders new tools to elevate cocktail serves in Moldova.”
Tarsier is currently available in more than 24 countries worldwide.
The debut in Moldova follows launches for the brand in the UK, Germany, Canada, the Philippines, and Singapore.
Driver and Sherwin Acebuche founded Tarsier Gin in 2018.
The brand donates 10% of its profits to conservation initiatives aimed at protecting the endangered Philippine tarsier, the small primate that inspired the company’s name and identity.
