Snow Tequila secures US importer
Spirits importer Helmsman Imports has been appointed as the representative for Snow Tequila in the US market.

Helsman Imports will manage Snow Tequila’s US import operations, providing regulatory and operational support to enhance the brand’s supply chain and facilitate ongoing market growth.
Jeff Diego, founder of Helmsman Imports, said: “Snow Tequila is entering a fast-moving category, and the fundamentals matter. Our role is to ensure the importing and compliance side is handled properly, so the brand can focus on building demand.”
The founders of the brand, Katrina Johnson and Barb Sanders, state that Snow Tequila was developed to challenge conventional perceptions of Tequila and elevate the category’s reputation.
Johnson and Sanders commented: “As female founders in a male-dominated industry, we saw a gap in the ultra-premium market. We wanted a spirit that could keep up with our lifestyle – sophisticated enough to sip neat by the fire, but clean enough to keep you on the mountain the next morning.
“We traded the stereotype of ‘Tequila as a dare’ for a new reality: Tequila as a luxury.”
The brand’s Cristalino Reposado claims to be crafted without additives by maestra Tequilera Ana María Romero and aged for six months in Bourbon and red and white wine barrels.
Bottled at 40% ABV, Snow Tequila Cristalino Reposado offers notes of citrus and toasted almond on the palate. A 750ml bottle retails for US$74.99.
The Tequila brand joins Helmsman’s portfolio, receiving support through compliance management, importation and logistics services.
This year, Helmsman Imports has welcomed Oregon-made Adam Vodka, Australian brand Tommy’s Booze, and Italian ready-to-drink product Classy Cocktails to its portfolio.
Since its founding in 2021, the company said it has partnered with more than 100 brands.
