Four Pillars offers AU$25,000 to local organisations
Australian gin producer Four Pillars has opened applications for its community programme, with five AU$5,000 (US$3,515) grants up for grabs.

Titled Four Pillars of the Community, the programme awards grants to five local organisations in the Yarra Valley that do meaningful work in their community.
The grants are available to grassroots organisations from multiple sectors, which include projects that support sustainability and the environment, education and skills development, social and community inclusion, and Indigenous-led or co-designed initiatives.
The programme’s relaunch forms a broader part of Four Pillars’ two-year AU$50,000 community investment into the surrounding Victoria region, which aims to strengthen community relationships and create a positive, tangible impact on the Yarra Valley area, where the distillery is based.
The grants are open to eligible not-for-profits and community organisations operating within Healesville and the surrounding areas. To be considered, applicants must have an annual revenue below AU$500,000 and hold Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.
Applications can be made until 31 March. These will be reviewed in April, with successful recipients announced later that month.
Successful applicants’ projects must be completed within 12 months of receiving the grant.
Four Pillars recently launched a Mexican-inspired gin called El Cuatro, designed for Margaritas and other cocktails traditionally made with agave spirits.
The brand’s co-founder Matt Jones has previously spoken about how Australian-made brands can win both at home and in international markets.
Four Pillars is often cited as a success story for the Australian state of Victoria. Last year, the advocacy body for the region’s distillers, the Spirits Victoria Association (SVA), outlined a government-backed five-year plan aiming to position the state as a leader in the global spirits market.
