Bemakers webinar explores sustainability in drinks
Direct beverage distribution platform Bemakers will host its Sustainability and Beverage Brands 2026 webinar on 17 March.

Hosted on the company’s website from 10am–11am CET (9am-10am GMT), the Tuesday morning webinar will examine how beverage brands can integrate sustainability into their operations as expectations evolve in the European drinks industry.
The session will feature two sustainability specialists from the beverage industry: Linda Johansson, the sustainability manager at Sweden’s state alcohol monopoly, Systembolaget, and Gry Montiel, an ESG (environmental, social, and governance) consultant and the CEO and co-founder of Agave by Montiel.
Targeted at beverage producers and brand owners, the discussion will focus on how beverage brands can successfully navigate sustainability and integrate it into their commercial strategies.
The speakers will explore the current meaning of sustainability in the beverage industry and discuss why it is becoming crucial for brands operating in the European market in 2026.
According to Morten Stengaard, CEO and co-founder of Bemakers, “Sustainability is no longer just a brand story – it’s becoming a core commercial factor shaping how beverage brands grow and compete in Europe.”
The session will focus on how producers can integrate sustainability into their businesses as an ongoing and manageable priority.
Key insights will highlight the sustainability trends expected to influence the European beverage market in the next three to five years and how beverage brands can prepare for these changes.
