Babco buys Tom Savano Cocktails
By Georgie CollinsReady-to-drink (RTD) cocktail maker Tom Savano has been acquired by Babco International, marking a strategic step in the group’s ambition to build a ‘diversified, high-growth portfolio of distinctive drinks brands’.

Tom Savano has joined Babco International’s portfolio of spirits and drinks brands for an undisclosed sum.
Founded by James Kerslake, Tom Savano has built a reputation for creating high-quality, bar-standard cocktails designed to deliver the experience of ‘world-class’ mixology in an RTD format.
The brand has already gained traction in grocery and travel retail channels, with listings in Sainsbury’s, Virgin Airlines, Eurostar and British Airways.
At the core of the brand’s proposition is a ‘commitment to quality and flavour innovation’.
The portfolio spans both premium canned cocktails and bottled serves, including products such as Hot Honey Margarita, Caipirinha, Tommy’s Margarita and Classic Mojito in cans, alongside bottled drinks including Devon Coastal Negroni, Kentucky Winter Old Fashioned and Brazilian Sunset Passionfruit Martini.
Kerslake said: “Tom Savano was created from the idea that cocktails should transport you to a moment or a place. The ambition was always to create the gold standard for ready-to-drink cocktails.
“Joining Babco gives the brand the platform and resources to take that vision much further, while staying true to the quality and flavour that built the brand.”
The acquisition forms part of Babco International’s broader strategy to build a scalable drinks platform capable of incubating and accelerating premium brands.
Babco’s portfolio includes Neptune Rum, Horse Guards London Dry Gin, and toffee-flavoured vodka brand, Tofka.
By integrating Tom Savano into its operational infrastructure, Babco says it plans to expand distribution across retail, on-trade and international markets.
Babco International CEO Lewis Bowen added: “Tom Savano is an exceptional brand with a clear identity and a genuine commitment to cocktail quality. The RTD category is evolving quickly, and consumers are increasingly seeking premium options that replicate the experience of a great bar serve.
“Tom Savano already delivers that, and we see significant opportunity to scale the brand through our distribution platform, export network and portfolio synergies.”
With Savano now part of the group, Babco International said it will continue to strengthen its position as a portfolio-driven drinks company focused on brand building, category innovation and scalable international growth.
