Wonder Women levels up drinks mentoring
Creative agency Wonderworks has partnered with drinks consultancy Fox in the Well to reprise its Wonder Women mentoring programme for a fifth year.

Industry strategist Carly Foxwell founded Fox in the Well in 2019.
The partnership will expand the Wonder Women’s offer with both creative and commercial mentoring expertise.
Wonderworks launched the initiative to address the lack of accessible mentoring for women in drinks.
The programme is open to anyone who identifies as female and is either currently working in or aspiring to work in the drinks industry. While based in the UK, the programme draws on a global network of women in drinks and is delivered online.
Participants will receive six months of group mentoring hosted by Sarah Wildman-King, co-founder and managing director of Wonderworks, and Carly Foxwell, founder of Fox in the Well. Each meeting will last for 90 minutes and take place monthly.
The group meetings focus on connection, shared learning and peer support, with participants encouraged to learn not only from the hosts but from each other.
Mentees will benefit from Wonderworks’ creative, strategic and brand-building expertise as well as Fox in the Well’s commercial insights, including knowledge on routes to market, business decision-making and long-term brand growth.
Sessions are designed to be practical and discussion-led, with topics likely to include career progression, confidence and leadership, navigating industry challenges, and building sustainable careers in drinks.
Jane Bulankina, head of marketing at Spirit Cartel, who previously took part in the programme, said: “I would strongly encourage it regardless of where you are in your life, whether you are an assistant or director. You have everything to gain, and nothing to lose.”
Meanwhile, Alexandra Miller of The Drinks Trust described the sense of community as “unmatched”.
Applications are now open and will close on 31 March: https://www.wearewonderworks.com/wonder-women.
