Tommy’s Booze heads to US
Melbourne-based producer Tommy’s Booze has partnered with Helmsman Imports to introduce its range of Italian-inspired liqueurs to the US.

Helmsman will manage Tommy’s Booze’s US import operations, ensuring compliance, executing imports, and coordinating logistics as the brand prepares for its US launch.
Tommy’s Booze was founded by Tom Giurioli and Dan Leuzzi in Windsor, Melbourne.
Inspired by traditional Italian recipes, the brand was born in the kitchen of Freddy’s pizza restaurant in Windsor in 2021, beginning with a bag of lemons and a Giurioli family limoncello recipe.
What started as a small-batch endeavour has evolved into a range of fruit-infused liqueurs, each designed to balance flavour with ‘a playful, modern identity.’
The brand’s portfolio features Limoncello (32% ABV), Lampone Raspberry Liqueur (27% ABV), Kiwi Liqueur (20% ABV), and Mandarino Mandarin Liqueur (32% ABV).
According to Tommy’s Booze, the range is suitable for both sipping and cocktail use.
Jeff Diego, founder of Helmsman Imports, said: “Tommy’s Booze brings a fresh, contemporary take to classic Italian-style liqueurs. As the brand prepares to enter the US, our role is to ensure the importing and compliance framework is in place so the team can focus on building awareness and demand.”
Tommy’s Booze is set to launch in the US from the second quarter of this year.
Helmsman Imports was established in 2021 and has since guided more than 100 brands to enter and expand in the US market.
The importer offers brands access to 18 US states through its distributor partnerships, including New York, New Jersey, California, Florida, and Texas.
Earlier this month, Helmsman welcomed Oregon-made Adam Vodka to its portfolio.
