Casa Redondo completes Sheridan’s purchase
By Miona MadsenFamily-owned Portuguese company Casa Redondo has completed the acquisition of Sheridan’s coffee and cream liqueur from Diageo.

Sheridan’s, which is known for its distinctive dual-chamber bottle, was officially added to Casa Redondo’s portfolio yesterday (1 February). The acquisition was first announced in September 2025.
The coffee and cream liqueur joins the company’s range, which also includes Licor Beirão.
The acquisition follows Casa Redondo’s 2024 purchase of Safari liqueur from Diageo and is part of the company’s strategy to enhance its portfolio and expand its international presence.
With the addition of Sheridan’s, the group aims to strengthen its long-term goal of building premium brands with a global reach.
As new owner, Casa Redondo will focus on further enhancing Sheridan’s brand assets through ongoing activation and communication plans.
Daniel Redondo, CEO of Casa Redondo, commented: “Completing this acquisition is an important step in Casa Redondo’s evolution and a moment of great pride for our team. Sheridan’s is a truly iconic brand, with a premium positioning and strong consumer connection across several international markets.
“Our ambition is to reinforce Sheridan’s presence in markets where the brand is already strong and accelerate growth in strategic countries, building a solid and competitive position in the cream liqueurs category.”
With Sheridan’s joining the portfolio, the company will expand into more than 20 additional markets, complementing its existing presence in over 70. The expansion includes new markets across regions such as Eastern Europe, the UK, South America, and Canada.
To support the new phase, Casa Redondo will pursue two complementary strategies: selecting strong international partners who have proven expertise and leadership in strategic markets to ensure a structured transition and foster long-term partnerships; and reinforcing its internal capabilities through continued investment in commercial, marketing, and logistics functions.
Ricardo Redondo, CFO of Casa Redondo, added: “This is a defining moment for Casa Redondo and reflects our ambition to build an increasingly global business.
“Sheridan’s strengthens our premium portfolio with internationally recognised brands and supports our growth plan through long-term investment, execution capabilities and strong partnerships.”
