Sazerac House creates six liqueurs for cocktails
By Georgie CollinsThe Sazerac House has launched a collection of six liqueurs designed to make mixing elevated, bartender-inspired cocktails easy to do at home.

Available at The Sazerac House museum in New Orleans, Louisiana, the six-strong Sazerac House of Cocktails collection features Curaçao, Triple Sec, Amaro, Elderflower, Coffee and Aperitivo, each of which seeks to empower home bartenders to craft bar-quality drinks.
The collection draws from New Orleans’ deep-rooted cocktail culture.
“Inspired by Sazerac’s cocktailing legacy, Sazerac House of Cocktails was created to help bartenders and consumers make next-level cocktails with ease,” explained Lauren Selman, global brand director of growth and innovation at Sazerac. “Each premium liqueur brings balance, character and confidence to the glass.”
The 40% ABV Curaçao is a citrus-forward liqueur that delivers bold orange intensity and structure for spirit-forward cocktails, such as a Margarita and a Sidecar, while the Triple Sec, which also rests at 40% ABV, delivers a lift in cocktails for which orange liqueur plays a key role, such as a Cosmopolitan and a White Lady.
The Amaro is a 35% ABV herbal liqueur that supports bitterness and botanical depth in cocktails, such as a Paper Plane and an Amaro Negroni, while the Elderflower, which clocks in at 20% ABV, is a floral liqueur that keeps cocktails light and refreshing – perfect for serves such as a Spritz or a French 75.
Coming in at 17% ABV, the rich, dark Coffee expression delivers a smooth and rounded balance to after-dinner cocktails, such as an Espresso Martini and an Irish Coffee, while the lowest ABV liqueur of the collection, a 12.5% Aperitivo, lends itself to casual sippers such as Spritzes or Palomas, thanks to its bittersweet foundation.

Thomas Register, The Sazerac House general manager, said: “New Orleans is the birthplace of cocktail culture, and at The Sazerac House, we’re proud to carry that tradition forward.
“With the Sazerac House of Cocktails collection, we wanted to make bar-quality cocktails more accessible at home. We believe this collection gives cocktail enthusiasts the tools to mix cocktails with confidence, and a new reason to visit The Sazerac House.”
Each liqueur in the collection is available in a 750ml bottle, featuring design elements inspired by the architecture of The Sazerac House.
All expressions are available at The Sazerac House, located at 101 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130, for the suggested retail price of US$19.99 each.
To celebrate the launch, The Sazerac House is hosting the Ultimate Cocktail Class Sweepstakes, giving one New Orleans–based winner and five friends the chance to learn mixology firsthand.
The winner will receive a private cocktail class led by a Sazerac House mixologist, where they and a group of guests will learn to create cocktails using each of the six liqueurs.
In addition, the winner will receive a prize bundle to outfit their home bar, including a set of four rocks and four coupe glasses, a shaker set, and a US$400 Visa gift card that can be used toward purchasing the full Sazerac House of Cocktails collection, as well as other products available in The Sazerac House gift shop.
