Moth adds ‘unapologetically fruity’ cocktails to lineup

Ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail producer Moth has expanded its portfolio with two fruity expressions – a Mango Margarita and a Strawberry Daiquiri.

The latest additions seek to bring fruity flavours to the forefront, with both recipes made using real fruit juice and premium spirits.

The brand’s Mango Margarita combines real mango juice with Tequila Enemigo, triple sec and lime, while the Strawberry Daiquiri combines real strawberry juice with lime and Duppy Share Rum.

Co-founder Rob Wallis said: “We wanted these drinks to be unapologetically fruity, while still tasting like cocktails you’d order at a great bar.

“Using real fruit and top-quality spirits makes all the difference, and Moth Mango Margarita and Moth Strawberry Daiquiri are two recipes we’re incredibly proud of. They’re confident, playful and made to be enjoyed straight from the fridge.”

Moth Strawberry Daiquiri will be available to buy in Tesco from 23 February before rolling out in Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda and Waitrose later in spring.

Moth Mango Margarita will be available to buy in Sainsbury’s from 23 March before rolling out in Tesco, Morrisons and Waitrose later in spring.

Both are offered at 14.9% ABV and will retail for £3.99 (US$5.45) per 125ml can.

The new cocktails build on Moth’s strong performance across Tequila and rum-based cocktails, as premium RTDs continue to drive growth in the category.

Moth Mango Margarita joins the brand’s existing Margarita range, which includes the original Moth Margarita, which took home a Gold medal in both the 2022 and 2023 The Pre Mix and RTD Masters, and Moth Spicy Margarita, which launched in 2025.

Meanwhile in Moth’s range of rum cocktails, Moth Strawberry Daiquiri joins the brand’s Mojito expression, and its Master medal-winning Piña Colada serve.
