Jackton Distillery welcomes head of experience
By Miona MadsenGlasgow-based Jackton Distillery has appointed Jethro Rolland as its new head of experience to lead tourism and events.

Established in 2020 by Raer Scotch Whisky, the distillery is home to Raer blend, Jackton vodka and gin, as well as Something Blue Gin.
The distillery also filled its first casks of single malt whisky in the year it was founded.
Rolland’s appointment indicates the company’s intention to focus more on its visitor facilities, which began offering tours in August 2024.
He will manage the tourism, accommodation, and events teams at the distillery.
Rolland previously held a similar position, overseeing bookings and tastings at the Scotch Whisky Experience on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
He also produced Jackton’s Maltings Tour for the 2025 Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival and led the project team behind the distillery’s accessibility programme and disabled access guide, which launched in January 2026.
Jaynie Kean, managing director of Jackton Distillery, commented: “Our experience department went from non-existent to something incredible in just the past year.
“Jethro has been able to harness all that makes our distillery special and turn that into authentic and high-quality experiences for people to enjoy. I know he will be amazing in this new role.”
The distillery offers 90-minute tours with four tasting samples on the Jackton website for £35.70 (US$49) per person.
It also offers accommodation options and is available for private hires, including small weddings.
