Italicus and Savoia champion Olympic spirit
By Miona MadsenItalSpirits-owned Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto and Savoia Vino Aperitivo will celebrate the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics this month (6-22 February) with cocktail collaborations with bars across the country.

For more than a decade, both brands have promoted the concept of the ‘Italian spirit’ as a cultural and design philosophy rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation.
Italicus draws inspiration from Italy’s architectural and design traditions, while Savoia reinterprets the country’s wine aperitivo heritage by emphasising its terroir and contemporary flavours.
With the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics showcasing Italy on the global stage from 6 to 22 February, the two brands aim to celebrate the shared values between Italian cocktail culture and the Olympic spirit.
Italicus and Savoia, both created by Giuseppe Gallo, have collaborated with bars in Italy to develop a series of Olympic-inspired cocktails.
Zefiro, created in collaboration with Bluesquare in Milan, combines Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, yuzu juice, pink grapefruit soda, and thyme salt in a Highball. The bar has also created the Orancio Margarita, featuring Savoia Orancio, Tequila blanco, lime juice, and salt.
Olympic Vibes by Sogni in Milan is made by mixing Savoia Rosso with mezcal, beurre noisette, sparkling apple, and winter cordial made with orange, cinnamon, and vanilla.
This year also marks a milestone for Italicus as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Last year, Savoia marked its fourth anniversary with a sustainable bar culture campaign called Spirit of Savoia.
