Hennessy headlines Brit Awards

LVMH-owned Hennessy has been named the official Cognac of the 2026 Brit Awards, which will take place in Manchester on 28 February.

Hennessy will host celebrations and takeovers that will extend beyond the Co-op Live arena

For the first time in the ceremony’s five-decade history, The Brits will be hosted outside of London at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester.

To mark the city’s debut, Hennessy seeks to celebrate the sound, spirit and communities that shape British music as the official Cognac partner of the award’s ceremony.

“Hennessy has long lived alongside music culture” said Julie Nollet, managing director, Moët Hennessy UK. “From the studio to the stage, our Cognacs have been referenced in songs, shared at pivotal moments and enjoyed across scenes for generations.

“As The Brit Awards with Mastercard arrive in Manchester for the first time, we’re proud to celebrate a city whose creativity and energy has shaped British music, and to be part of a moment that brings the industry together.”

To mark the occasion, Hennessy will host celebrations and takeovers that will extend beyond the Co-op Live arena.

In the run-up to the awards, Mollie’s Hotel & Diner and Off The Square will lead Hennessy’s Manchester takeover with headline experiences.

Mollie’s Studio IV will become a speakeasy-style hub from 16 February to 9 March, featuring a live house band performing Brit-pop classics in the week before the ceremony.

Meanwhile Off The Square will bring ‘Brits energy’ to the city’s nightlife, including a standout DJ set from Brits nominee DJ Pied Piper alongside DJ Silk on 28 February.

Both venues will serve bespoke Hennessy cocktails.

Across the city, additional Hennessy activations will run throughout February, including bespoke Hennessy cocktails served at Hotel Gotham, with Brits-themed live music evenings on 19 and 26 February.

At Speak in Code, an exclusive Hennessy cocktail featuring quince wine, dandelion and pear will be on offer, while Wood&Co will also craft bespoke Hennessy cocktails alongside a Brits-themed DJ on 21 February.

Hennessy cocktails will be available at Bunny Jacksons & Bunnys Karaoke NQ, including the brand’s Cognac take on a Margarita, the Henny Rita. Plus, it will host a Brits-themed karaoke night on 27 February.

On 20 February, Dusk Till Pawn will offer bespoke Hennessy cocktails with a Brits nominee DJ set, and more DJ sets will be hosted at Bar Shrimp in the lead up to the awards, along with an exclusive Hennessy Highball cocktail.

Finally, for the whole of February, bars Stray and Federico will both serve a special Hennessy cocktail.

In other award ceremony news, Patrón was named the Tequila brand of the Grammys, and Cygnet Gin features in this year’s Golden Globes gift bag.
