Give to gain: join SB for International Women’s Day
‘Give to gain’ is the theme for International Women’s Day 2026 and next week The Spirits Business will hold an evening to discuss the power of mentorships in the drinks industry.

The panel talk will take place on 4 March at The Nest Rooftop Bar in Treehouse, London, from 6pm to 10pm.
The speakers this year are: Cleo Farman, entrepreneur, brand creator and founder of Diablesse Rum; Raissa de Haas, co-founder of Double Dutch tonics and mixers; Ingrid Smith, founder and CEO of premium ready-to-drink cocktail brand Nirvana; and Roberta Mariani, global advocacy director, Italicus and Savoia. Melita Kiely, editor-in-chief of The Spirits Business, will moderate the discussion.
Guests will be able to enjoy an evening of drinks, canapés and networking with industry professionals working in a plethora of areas related to the spirits industry.
This year’s spirits sponsors are: Double Dutch, Cygnet Gin, Nirvana, Desi Daru Vodka, Diablesse Rum, Italicus, and Mezcal Reina.
A selection of wines will also be available to enjoy courtesy of sponsor Antigal, whose products are created by female winemaker Paula González.
“We’ve seen in previous years just how valuable these evenings are for women in the industry,” said The Spirits Business’ Kiely. “With this year’s International Women’s Day theme being ‘give to gain’, we wanted to take a deep dive into the power of mentorship in the world of drinks.
“This doesn’t relate solely to structured mentorship programmes, either; we will look at how we, as an industry, can better support women to achieve their own ambitions.
“Mentoring is a two-way street between mentor and mentee; there is so much reward in helping others and sharing personal experiences, and knowledge. I’m looking forward to hearing from our speakers about their experiences and the advice they have for women excited to build their personal goals this year.”
This event is exclusively for women industry professionals. Women from all walks of life will be welcome to join the event, which will celebrate the diversity and inclusivity of womanhood, embracing individuals of every background, identity and experience.
