The distributor will represent Catoctin Creek’s spirits portfolio in New York, starting with five expressions: Roundstone Rye 80 Proof, Roundstone Rye Cask Proof, Hot Honey Rye, Applejack, and Peach Brandy.

The partnership aims to increase the availability of its flagship Roundstone Rye expressions and limited releases to retailers, restaurants, and bars across the state.

Together, they aim to strengthen the brand’s presence with New York’s cocktail community and whiskey enthusiasts across the state.

Becky Harris, founder and master distiller of Catoctin Creek, shared: “We are absolutely thrilled to be working in the New York market with PM Spirits. New York is one of the most dynamic and influential spirits markets in the world, and PM Spirits shares our commitment to authenticity, quality, and long-term brand building.

“We couldn’t ask for a better partner to help tell our story and bring our organic rye whiskeys to discerning New York consumers.”

Founded in 2009 in Purcellville, Catoctin Creek has built a reputation for its rye whiskey, crafted from Virginia heritage rye using traditional methods.

Nicholas Palazzi, owner of PM Spirits, explained: “PM Spirits was started two years after Catoctin Creek. Both companies kept at it in their respective fields, without deviating from the path.

“It’s a cool feeling more than 15 years later to finally get to work together in the New York market.”

Last November, Catoctin Creek launched a private placement memorandum (PPM) to raise US$5 million.

Earlier this year, the distillery launched three new products in its home state, exclusively at Virginia ABC stores.
