The distillery’s Single Origin English Vodka and Black Lime Single Origin English Gin are now available at Berry Bros & Rudd, the oldest independent wine and spirit merchant in Britain.

The listing expands Witchmark’s reach to a broader audience throughout the UK and beyond.

Rob Whitehead, spirits buyer at Berry Bros & Rudd, shared: “It has been a joy to discover that there are some very exciting distilleries popping up in the west of England, none more so than our new friends at Witchmark.

“Superb quality drinks, allied with a heartfelt understanding of their place within a local community and ecosystem, make for some delicious evenings of exploration.”

Witchmark’s vodka is made with 100% English barley grown around the distillery. The spirit undergoes multiple distillations to achieve a creamy texture and delicate sweetness that highlight its local provenance.

Centred around black lime, Witchmark Single Origin Gin is made with additional botanicals of elderberry, yuzu, clove, and orris root.

Both spirits are now available from the Berry Bros website, shops and specialist retail partners for £43 (US$58).

Jon Carson, commercial director at Witchmark Distillery, shared: “It’s a true honour to see our products listed with Berry Bros & Rudd, an incredible and historic merchant that is so well respected.

“Their portfolio of spirits features nothing but top-quality products, and we are proud to sit among such a selection of iconic names.”

The distillery is named after the medieval ‘witch marks’ carved into the stone buildings of Fonthill.

The distillery blends traditional distilling methods with innovative techniques and a focus on local ingredients. These include barley cultivated on the surrounding chalk downlands and Fonthill’s pure water, naturally filtered through limestone.

Witchmark’s commitment to sustainability has reportedly made it the ‘highest-scoring’ B Corp-certified distillery in England.

Earlier this year, Witchmark released a limited edition Distiller’s Cut of its Single Origin new make spirit as a preview of its future single malt, which is set to be released in 2027.

Last month, the distillery developed a limited edition gin for Bath Rugby as part of their multi-year partnership.
