SB’s 12 Drinks of Christmas – Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange
By Georgie CollinsToday we cheers to The Spirits Business‘ sixth Drink of Christmas, and the moment we all collectively agree that dessert is a valid beverage category.

From the Sticky Bandits to Wallace and Gromit, and Jack Skellington and Sally to Kermit and Miss Piggy (aka Bob and Emily Cratchit), Christmas is full of iconic duos, but they don’t come more iconic than this festive mash up: Baileys and Terry’s Chocolate Orange.
The two brands are said to be ‘synonymous’ with the festive period, with more than two bottles of Baileys and two Terry’s Chocolate Oranges sold every second during the Christmas period last year. So it was only a matter of time before they linked up to create the ultimate seasonal serve: Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange Irish Cream Liqueur.
The bottles hit the shelves of leading UK retailers in September, exactly 100 days before Christmas. Now, just 15 days away from the big day, anyone yet to feel in the Christmas spirit is just one purchase of this indulgent liqueur away from hearing those sleigh bells jingling, and ring tingle tingling, too.
The 17% ABV chocolate orange-flavoured liqueur is described as an ideal base for shoppers who want to experiment with more indulgent mixed drinks and cocktails during festive occasions at home, as well as something to be enjoyed on its own as a treat.
It’s available now across leading UK retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda, Waitrose, Amazon and Co-op for RRP £11 (US$15) per 500ml bottle, as well as in selected Greene King pubs and bars.
