Copper & Kings relaunches portfolio post-acquisition
By Lauren BowesBourdon Spirits Company-owned Copper & Kings has revealed a new flagship portfolio of American brandy and whiskey.

Constellation Brands offloaded Copper & Kings in August. It had purchased the brand from its founders in 2020.
The new line features three expressions: a six-year-old grape brandy; a six-year-old apple brandy, which has been bottled in bond; and a straight Bourbon that blends liquid aged between five and 15 years, and was finished in brandy barrels for up to three years.
The grape brandy retails for US$19.99, while the apple is priced at US$24.99. The Bourbon has a suggested price of US$29.99.
The portfolio is intended to ‘redefine the American brandy category while honouring the brand’s rebellious Louisville roots’.
“These releases are more than new bottles; they’re a statement of who we are,” said Rob Bourdon, founder of Bourdon Spirits Company. “We didn’t set out to follow Bourbon. We set out to reclaim America’s original spirit – brandy – and to do it with integrity, craftsmanship, and a sense of adventure that feels truly American.”
The new portfolio is available from the distillery in Louisville, with select distribution to follow.
