The event welcomes visitors to enjoy festive lights and decor, new retail holiday offerings, and experiences at the distillery.

Tyler Adams, the Kentucky distillery’s general manager, said: “Buffalo Trace Distillery has always been a place where people come together to celebrate, and the holidays are no different.

“Holidays at the Trace offers something for everyone. Whether you’re here for the lights, the shopping, or the spirit of the season, we are honoured to be part of so many cherished family traditions.”

As part of the holiday special Spirited Nights, the distillery will host a Light Trail Experience: a complimentary, 12-night family-friendly after-hours event.

Visitors can stroll through thousands of twinkling lights, featuring a 60-foot-long light tunnel and a variety of themed light displays.

The experience includes seasonal food and drinks offerings, including a Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream Hot Chocolate Bar. Guests aged 21 or older can also enjoy complimentary tastings of Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream.

Reservations for the Light Trail Experience are currently available on the distillery’s website for 4 December to the second and third weekends of December.

For legal drinking age consumers, Cocktails & Cheers is a premium event upgrade that includes access to the Light Trail Experience and the Distillery’s Holiday Cocktail Trail.

Guests will enjoy three winter cocktails featuring Buffalo Trace brands. Additionally, they will receive take-home gifts, which include a Spirited Nights tote bag, a branded souvenir cup, and Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream mini bottles. Reservation upgrades are available for US$25 per person.

Holidays at the Trace: Drive-Through Light Show allows visitors to see the distillery’s historic grounds, illuminated with holiday lights, all from the comfort of their car. This complimentary drive-through experience is available every night from 5.30pm to 8.30pm during the holiday season.

The Buffalo Trace Distillery Gift Shop will have extended hours and more online options during Holidays at the Trace, featuring new 2025 apparel, speciality gifts, and custom woodworking.

Earlier this month, Buffalo Trace partnered with Buffalo Field Campaign on an initiative which offers consumers the chance to sample its Bourbon at a tasting room located on the open plains of Wyoming, surrounded by herds of wild buffalo.
