Described as a ‘playful twist’ to the classic Strawberry Daiquiri, the new limited edition RTD combines white rum, strawberry, and lime with sweet jam and dough flavours.

The cocktail is offered in a new ‘shaker can’, ready to be enjoyed chilled, without the need of ice or a cocktail shaker.

The launch of the new playful cocktail follows The Drinks Bureau’s first permanent grocery listing with Morrisons, which features five new expressions this autumn.

The limited edition offering builds on the reported continued sales growth of jam doughnuts at Morrisons.

Last year, shoppers consumed more than 67 million doughnuts from Morrisons bakeries, amounting to over 336 tonnes of doughnuts – the same weight as 210,000 cars. Now, shoppers can enjoy that same flavour in a sippable can.

The Drink Bureau’s Jam Doughnut Daiquiri is available now at 8% ABV for £2.50 (US$3.30) in 200ml cans exclusively from Morrisons for a limited time.

In addition to the jammy cocktail, Morrisons shoppers can also find the company’s RTD core range, which includes Spicy Margarita, Lychee Martini, Passion Fruit Martini, and Espresso Martini, available in 300 UK stores.

Earlier this year, The Drinks Bureau launched a limited edition Dubai Chocolate Style Espresso Martini RTD at more than 400 Morrisons stores.
